Guangwen Zhou is a professor of materials science and mechanical engineering at the State University of New York (SUNY), Binghamton. He received his PhD degree in materials science from the University of Pittsburgh and conducted postdoc research at Argonne National Laboratory. His research focuses on atomistic mechanisms of surface and interface phenomena, materials for energy storage/conversion and heterogeneous catalysis, materials stability in harsh environments, and materials characterization using dynamic in situ electron microscopy and spectroscopy techniques. He can be reached by email at gzhou@binghamton.edu.
