Judith Vidal, Ph.D

Judith Vidal is the manager of Building Energy Science Group, the sub-program lead of Buildings Emerging Technologies, a distinguished member of research staff at NREL, and a joint faculty at the Colorado School of Mines. She has established an international reputation for her cutting-edge work on thermal systems, thermomechanical and chemical optimization of materials, and advanced manufacturing. She has diversified her expertise and capabilities in several technologies including building technologies and high temperature components, among others. She has several patents and has published many impactful journal articles.
