Keivan Esfarjani
University of Virginia
Keivan Esfarjani is an associate professor at the University of Virginia's Department of Materials Science and Engineering. A theoretical and computational materials scientist, he specializes in phonon transport, thermoelectric materials, and density functional theory. He pioneered methods to compute phonon lifetimes and thermal conductivity from first principles. Educated in France and the U.S., he has held positions at MIT and University of California, Santa Cruz, contributing significantly to nanoscale heat and charge transport modeling. He can be reached by email at k1@virginia.edu.
