Long-Qing Chen

Long-Qing Chen is the Hamer Professor of Materials Science and Engineering at Pennsylvania State University, Editor-in-Chief of npj Computational Materials, and Director of Computational Mesoscale Materials Science funded by the DOE Computational Materials Science Program. He received his PhD degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, MS degree from Stony Brook University, and BS degree from Zhejiang University. His research interests include computational phase transitions and microstructure development in solids. He is an MRS Fellow and received the MRS Materials Theory Award in 2014.
