Michael Naguib

Michael Naguib is a Ken and Ruth Arnold Early Career Professor and an associate professor in the department of Physics and Engineering Physics at Tulane University. He received his PhD degree in materials science and engineering from Drexel University in 2014, where he co-invented MXenes. He has published over 100 papers and has been listed as a Highly Cited Researcher by Clarivate Analytics. He has received many awards, including NSF CAREER and Robert L. Coble Awards. His group works on the synthesis and characterization of novel nanomaterials with a focus on 2D materials for energy storage and conversion. He can be reached by email at naguib@tulane.edu.
