Qing Huang is a professor at the Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering, Chinese Academy of Science (CAS). He received his BS and MS degrees from Tianjin University (China), and he received his PhD degree in physics and chemistry from Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, CAS. He carried out postdoctoral research at the National Institute for Materials Science (Japan) and University of California, Davis. In 2010, he joined Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering and focused on the developments and applications of energy materials under extreme environments, including the layered materials and silicon carbide composites for high-safety energy systems
