Rhauane Almeida Galvão

Rhauane Galvão is currently enrolled in a Master's Degree in Materials Science at UFPE. She is developing her research at CETENE under the supervision of Professor Giovanna Machado. During graduation, she developed works with synthesis of titanium dioxide nanotubes, self-assembly of thin films layer-by-layer (LbL) and synthesis of gold nanoparticles, with application in hydrogen generation aided by solar energy, besides development of nanocomposite of titanium dioxide-hydroxyapatite through electrochemical synthesis, a nanomaterial applicable to dental implants. In her master's degree, she is working on the synthesis of bimetallic nanoparticles of Ag-Au and Pt-Au as sensitizers for photocatalysts of titanium dioxide nanotubes.
