Sameh Tawfick

Sameh Tawfick is an associate professor and the Ralph A. Anderson Scholar in Mechanical Science and Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. His research focuses on advanced materials for actuation, polymer composites, smart materials, and manufacturing processes. Tawfick received his PhD degree from the University of Michigan and was a postdoctoral associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He was a visiting professor at the University of Cambridge (UK) and a Beaufort Visiting Fellow at St. John’s College. He can be reached by email at tawfick@illinois.edu.
