3D Bioprinting for Medical Applications

Date: June 21, 2023

Time: 12:00PM - 01:30PM

You must be registered to participate!

3D bioprinting has become an important emerging technology to fabricate functional tissues and organs to replicate native tissue function. It has the ability to precisely position cellular materials and utilize medical images for the printing process. 3D bioprinting thus has enormous potential in biomedical applications including tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. The June 2023 issue of MRS Bulletin focuses on 3D bioprinting, with articles covering 3D bioprinting technologies, bioink design, 3D bioprinted tissue models, 3D bioprinting of organoid and organ-on-a-chip platforms, volumetric bioprinting for large scale tissues and organs, and applications of 3D bioprinting in bone tissue engineering and otolaryngology.

The talks in this webinar will cover some these aspects, complementing the articles in the June 2023 issue of MRS Bulletin.
