Young-Shin Park joined Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center since 2007 as a nursing clinical analyst. She has worked with two major hospital information systems, Peri-Operative Information System and Clinical Information Systems, to facilitate integrated nurses’ workflows using advanced information technology. She has a BSN and a MSN in nursing from Hanyang University (Seoul, Korea) and a post-master certification in nursing informatics from NYU. Based on her 17-year clinical experience and informatics practice in Korea and USA, Young-Shin is actively participating in workflow and system development, analysis, system design, testing, implementation, staff training, and user support. She has presented multiple paper/poster presentation in various conferences, such as AORN (Association of PeriOperative Registered Nurses), ONS (Oncology Nursing Society), ANA Nursing Quality, SINI (Summer Institute in Nursing Informatics), International Nursing Computer & Technology Conference, and ENRS (Eastern Nursing Research Society). Her co-authored paper was published in Advances in Nursing Science (2009).
