Kristofer Reyes is an assistant professor and director of the Computational and Statistical Materials Science Lab at the University at Buffalo. His interests lie at the interface of computation, statistical modeling, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and materials science. In short, he studies ways to make computers and robots do science well, and not just fudge with data.
Specific research interests include Bayesian techniques, experimental design, prior knowledge elicitation, knowledge representation, and ML-accelerated atomistic simulations.
