Carol Lynn Alpert directs the Strategic Projects group at the Museum of Science, Boston. A founding co-PI of the NSF Nanoscale Informal Science Education Network, she now serves as co-PI of the Center for Integrated Quantum Materials headquartered at Harvard and PI of the QSTORM Innovations in Biological Imaging and Visualization Collaborative Research project, and teaches a Research Communication Laboratory course at MIT's Research Laboratory for Electronics and coordinates a network of Research-Experience-for-Undergraduates Science Communication Workshop providers. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Harvard University and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, MRS, AAAS, and ASTC.
