Christine Broadbridge

Christine Broadbridge received Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Engineering from Brown University where she conducted research in the fields of materials science, semiconductor electronics and solid-state physics. While at Trinity College, she established a materials processing and characterization facility. In 1998, she was appointed Visiting Fellow at Yale and in September of 2000 she joined the Physics Department at SCSU. In 2005 she took on the role of Education Director for the newly established Center for Research on Interface Structures and Phenomena (CRISP) an NSF MRSEC at Yale/SCSU. Recently, she was appointed inaugural Director of the Connecticut State Colleges and Universities Center for Nanotechnology and SCSU Director of STEM Initiatives.
