Dario Narducci

Dario Narducci received his PhD in Chemistry in 1988 at the University of Milan defending a thesis on solid state chemistry. From 1988 to 1990 he was Post Doctoral Fellow at the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center. In 1997 he co-founded the Department of Materials Science at the University of Milano Bicocca. His current research interests focus on thermoelectricity, mostly on nanostructured silicon. In 2010 he was appointed CTO of a spin-off aimed at the development of thermoelectric generators for energy harvesting. Narducci is the President of the Italian Thermoelectric Society and a member of the MRS and ACS. He authored more than one hundred scientific publications, a book on Nanotechnology, and fifteen patents as well.
