Fil Bartoli is the Chandler Weaver Chair of Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE) at Lehigh University and ECE Department Chair. He previously was a Program Director in Electrical and Communications Systems at the National Science Foundation (2000-2005), and prior to that as Head of the Advanced Materials Section in Optical Sciences at the Naval Research Laboratory. He is a Fellow of OSA and IEEE, and recently was the IEEE Photonics Society Vice President for Finance and Editor-in-Chief for the IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Quantum Electronics. His research interests include nanophotonics, plasmonics, and biosensors.
