Professor Arindam Ghosh is an Associate Professor at the Department of Physics, Indian Institute of Science. His research interests lies in electrical, magnetic and optoelectronic properties of two dimensional systems ranging from semiconductors heterostructures, graphene, to the atomically thin transition metal dichalcogenides. In addition to transport and optoelectronic characterization, his research group specializes in detection of ultra-low level electrical signals, and wideband 'noise' measurements down to milliKelvin temperatures. Professor Ghosh has published over hundred research papers, including Physical Review Letters, Nature Physics and Nature Nanotechnology, and also mentored over twenty graduate students and postdocs.
