Energy is the most important challenge of the next century. I am interested in energy efficiency and new approaches to enable competitive renewable energy sources. In my research, I explore the possibility to integrate metamaterials as effective antireflection coatings. We investigate linear gratings of high refractive index materials to demonstrate perfect transmission of light into the absorbing layer. I am a physicist by training (PhD in 2010), now at Stanford University as PostDoctoral Associate. Right now, my research activity is across physics, materials science, and engineering. The perfect balance between fundamental concepts applied to real devices. About me:www.emfpecora.euFollow me:@EmFPecoraMy profile:LinkedIn
