Hou-Tong Chen

Hou-Tong Chen received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Science and Technology of China in 1997 and 2000, respectively, and Ph.D degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2004, all in physics. Between 2005 and 2008, he was a postdoc in Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). Since 2008, he has been a technical staff member in the Center for Integrated Nanotechnologies at LANL. His research interests are in metamaterials and terahertz science and technology. He has co-authored over 50 papers in peer reviewed journals including Science and Nature, delivered over 50 invited presentations in conferences as well as colloquia and seminars in research institutions. He received LANL Achievement Awards in 2007 and 2013.
