Kieron Burke

UC Irvine

Kieron Burke received his B.A. from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland in 1985 and his Ph.D. from the UC Santa Barbara in 1989. He was a postdoctoral fellow at Rutgers, at Indiana U., and at Tulane U., before becoming a professor at Rutgers-Camden in 1996. Kieron was a professor in both the Chemistry and Chemical Biology and the Physics and Astronomy Departments at Rutgers from 1999, before moving to UC Irvine in 2006. In 2007, he was elected APS fellow. In 2010, he was CMMS Distinguished Lecturer (Henry S. Frank Lecture) in U. of Pittsburgh. In 2012, he was an invited lecture for the Tour in Chemistry of Conference Universitaire De Suisse Occidentale (CUSO). He is a member of Editorial Board of the Journal of Chemical Physics for 2013-2015.
