Ian McCue is a 5th year PhD Candidate in the Materials Science and Engineering Department at Johns Hopkins University working under Professor Jonah Erlebacher. He is currently researching nanoporous metals, looking at fundamental mechanisms as well as novel processing to create bulk nanostructured materials. His thesis work centers on creating porous refractory metals and testing refactory-based nanocomposite structures. Ian received a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering in 2010 from Johns Hopkins University.
