Robert Abbel

Robert Abbel studied chemistry at the universities of Mainz (Germany) and Toronto (Canada). After having finished his undergraduate studies, he moved to Bert Meijer's research group at Eindhoven University of Technology (The Netherlands), where he worked on the supramolecular chemistry of pi-conjugated oligomers. He received his PhD degree in 2008 and joined Holst Centre in early 2009 as a research scientist in the field of Printed Electronics. His main activities include the development of functional inks for transparent electrodes and technologies forink post-deposition processing. In addition, he isworking on thecontribution ofmetal electromigration to OLED failure.
