Byungwoo Park received his Ph.D. degree (1989) in applied physics from Harvard University. He worked at IBM T. J. Watson Research Center, California Institute of Technology, and Georgia Institute of Technology. He is currently a professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Seoul National University since 1997. His current research interests include the development of nanoscale coating, novel nanocomposites, quantum-dot sensitized solar cells, nanophase control of thin-film electrodes, and the growth kinetics of nanostructures.
