Chunxu Pan

Dr. Chunxu Pan is a professor of materials science and engineering inSchool of Physics and Technology at Wuhan University, China.He acquired his Bachelor and Masteras degrees from Wuhan University in 1983 and 1988 respectively, and Doctoras degree from Wuhan Transportation University in 1998. Afterward, He received the aoe2002 National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation (NEDD) Awarda issued by Ministry of Education, China. He worked at University of Kentucky (USA) during 1999-2001 as a research scientist. He has held a number of professional society offices including Committee Member of Chinese Materials Research Society (C-MRS) and Chinese Electron Microscopy Society, Chairman of the Committee Board of the Society of Physical Testing and Chemical Analysis of Hubei Province, etc. He is the member for the review panels, and has been the referee for numerous prestigious journals. Dr Panas research has been focused primarily in the area of carbon nanomaterials (graphene, carbon nanotubes), one dimensional metal oxide nanomaterials, TiO2 photocatalytic nanomaterials, archaeometry (ancient bronzes, ancient ceramics, painting appraisal), etc. He is author or co-author of 3 books and over 300 scientific papers, and has given several tens presentations at international scientific conferences and institutes around the world. cxpan@whu.edu.cn.
