Jinhui Song received his B.S and Ph.D. degrees from Nankai University (1998) and Georgia Institute of Technology (2008), respectively. Presently, he works as a tenure track assistant professor in Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at The University of Alabama. His research interests include synthesizing and characterizing nanostructured materials; studying mechanical, electrical, piezoelectrical, photoelectrical properties of nanomaterials; and fabricating piezoelectrical nanogenerators, energy cell, photoelectric nanosensors and other nanodevices.
