Lily Poulikakos received her B.S. in Architectural Eng. from U. of Co., Boulder, her M.S. from U. of IL at Chicago and her PhD from ETH, Zurich. She has been active in the field of asphalt concrete since 1998, currently at the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology, Empa, Switzerland. Her research focus is the characterization of bituminous materials including rheology, effect of moisture on asphalt concrete and multi-scale characterization of asphalt concrete.
