Dr. Anja Waske is a group leader at the Leibniz Institute for Solid State and Materials Research (IFW) Dresden, Germany. She studied Physics at the Technische Universität Dresden, followed by a PhD thesis in the field of X-ray tomographic characterization of granular matter. Her research interests are magnetic composites and magnetocaloric materials for cooling and energy harvesting applications. Anja develops 3D image analysis methods for understanding the properties of functional and additively manufactured materials
