Jagjit Nanda

Jagjit Nanda is a Team Lead and Senior Staff Scientist at Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s Materials Science & Technology Division, working in the area of high capacity energy storage materials, interfaces and energy systems. Prior to joining Oak Ridge in 2009, Jagjit was the Technical Expert at the Research and Advanced Engineering Center, Ford Motor Company, MI leading R&D projects in lithium-ion battery materials and nanomaterials for energy application. Jagjit received his PhD in Solid State Chemistry & Materials Science from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India in 2000 followed by Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Stanford University and Research Associateship at Los Alamos National Laboratory. He has published over 150-journal and technical publications and is an active member of several scientific societies including MRS.
