Yan Wang

Yan Wang is currently a senior research scientist at Advanced Materials Lab, Samsung Research America. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Tsinghua University, and PhD in Physics from the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He was a postdoctoral associate at Quantum Theory Project, University of Florida, and senior postdoctoral associate at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Wang’s current research interests focus on computational materials design for energy applications including Li-ion, Na-ion and solid-state batteries.
