Henry Hess

Henry Hess is a Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University in the City of New York and the Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Transactions on NanoBioscience. He received a Diploma in Physics from the Technical University Berlin in 1996 and the Dr.rer.nat. in Physics from the Free University Berlin in 1999. He previously held appointments at the Department of Bioengineering at the University of Washington, and the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Florida. His research focuses on engineering problems at the molecular scale.
