Atanu Chatterjee

Atanu Chatterjee is a Graduate Student at the Department of Physics at WPI (achatterjee3@wpi.edu, 508-353-8756). He holds a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, a Master’s in Applied Mathematics from the IIT Madras, and a Master’s in Physics from WPI. He is expected to receive his PhD in Physics by 2020. His areas of research include far-from-equilibrium thermodynamics, variational calculus, and network science. He has mentored several undergraduate students over the years with whom he has also co-authored papers in journals and conferences. He was a short-term visiting scientist at the Politecnico di Torino (2017-18).
