Tevis David Jacobs

Tevis D. B. Jacobs is an Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science at the University of Pittsburgh. He received his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, where he also did his post-doctoral work. He received M.Sc. and M.Phil. degrees from Stanford University and Cambridge University, respectively. He is a recipient of the NSF CAREER award. His research focuses on uncovering the atomic-scale processes governing the mechanical and physical properties of surfaces and interfaces.
