Joshua P. Kacher

Josh Kacher is an assistant professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He received his BS and MS degrees from Brigham Young University in Applied Physics (2008) and Mechanical Engineering (2009). He received his PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in 2012. He was a post-doctoral fellow at the University of California – Berkeley and joined the department at Georgia Tech in 2015. His research focuses on the degradation and failure of metals and alloys in extreme environments.
