Byoungho Lee

Byoungho Lee is a professor of electrical and computer engineering at Seoul National University, Republic of Korea. He received his PhD degree from the University of California at Berkeley in 1993. He is a Fellow fellow of SPIE, OSA, and IEEE, a Member member of the Korean Academy of Science and Technology, and a Senior senior Member member of the National Academy of Engineering of Korea. His current research interests include 3D imaging, digital holography, augmented/virtual reality, metasurfaces, and nanophotonics. He has published more than 450 peer-reviewed articles in the field of optics, with approximately 19,000 citations (H index = 70). His awards include the National Science Medal of Jinbojang. He has served on the Board board of Directors directors of OSA and served as a General general Chair chair of OSA Frontiers in Optics (2019). Currently, he is the President president of the Optical Society of Korea and is on the editorial board of Advances in Optics and Photonics and Light: Science & Applications. He is also the elected 2021 President president of the Korean Information Display Society.
