Atieh Moridi

Atieh Moridi is an assistant professor in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department and a member of the Materials Science and Engineering field at Cornell University. Prior to that, she was a postdoctoral fellow at MIT. She received Ph.D. Cum Laude (the highest institute honor) from Politecnico di Milano, Italy in 2015. Her research interests lie in the areas of advanced materials, manufacturing and in-situ characterizations. She has received several honors including the Presidential Council of Cornell Women- Affinto Stewart grant, the Roberto Rocca doctoral fellowship and outstanding reviewer award from Materials and Design and Surface and Coatings Technology journals.
