Catherine Clark is the current 2020-21 MRS/OSA Congressional Science and Engineering Fellow. She is working in Senator Durbin’s office on energy and climate policy, with a focus on environmental justice topics. Catherine completed her PhD in Materials Science at the University of Minnesota, where her research focused on metal halide perovskite materials for optoelectronics. Prior to graduate school, Clark worked at Siemens Energy as a mechanical engineer on wind turbines, gas turbines, and generators.
