Sarah Glaven

Dr. Sarah Glaven has been a Research Biologist at the Naval Research Lab since 2011. She is team lead on a number of programs related to engineered living conductive materials and biosynthesis. Recently, she served at the President of International Society for Microbial Electrochemistry and Technology. She received her Ph.D. in Environmental Health Science from the University of South Carolina, where she researched phytoremediation. She was first introduced to electromicrobiology and microbial electrochemistry as a postdoc at the University of Massachusetts and the NRL.
