Dr. Dula Parkinson is the head of Beamline 8.3.2, Hard X-ray Microtomography. He is a Member of CAMERA, the Center for Applied Mathematics for Energy Research Applications and a member of the SPOT Suite team, linking the ALS and high performance networking and computing centers for data management and processing.
Dr. Parkinson earned a B.S. in Chemistry from Brigham Young University in 2001, a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from UC Berkeley in 2006 and served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at UCSF and the National Center for X-Ray Tomography from 2006 - 2010.
His research interests include dynamic 3D Imaging, image processing and analysis, data management and sharing, and linking light source, computing and networking user facilities.
