Bradley J. Siwick is an associate professor in the Department of Physics and the Department of Chemistry at McGill University, and a member of the McGill Center for the Physics of Materials. He received his undergraduate degree in engineering physics and his PhD degree in physics in 2004 from the University of Toronto, Canada. From 2006 to 2016, he was the Canada Research Chair in Ultrafast Science and in 2005 he was awarded the NSERC Doctoral Prize. His research focuses on instrumentation development and atomic-level studies of nonequilibrium materials physics using a combination of time-resolved electron scattering, imaging and optical/infrared spectroscopic techniques.
