Subhash Shinde

Subhash L. Shinde, associate director of the Center for Sustainable Energy at University of Notre Dame (ND Energy), leads initiatives in energy research, global development, and corporate programs. He obtained his PhD in materials science and engineering from Stanford. Previous to his position at ND Energy, he was a member of the research staff and an R&D manager at Sandia National Laboratories. Prior to this, he was at IBM’s TJ Watson Research Center and Microelectronics Division. Subhash has carried out research in 3D integration of microsystems (Sandia), advanced thermal management (Sandia, IBM), and materials compatibility issues for future microsystems.
