Asif Khan

Asif Khan is an assistant professor at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering and of Materials Science and Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. His group focuses on all aspects of ferroelectricity ranging from materials physics, growth, and electron microscopy to device fabrication and ferroelectric circuits for artificial intelligence and machine learning applications. His early career work led to the experimental proof-of-concept demonstration of ferroelectric negative capacitance that can reduce power dissipation in transistors. He received a NSF-CAREER Award (2021), a DARPA Young Faculty Award (2021), and an Intel Rising Star Award (2020).
