Max Tuttman
Technology-to-Market Advisor, Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E)
Max Tuttman serves as a Technology-to-Market Advisor at the Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E) where he helps prepare innovative energy technologies for transition from the lab to the market. He focuses on technologies that enable deep decarbonization of the electric power sector including long duration energy storage and flexible carbon capture.
Tuttman has worked in energy and climate for over a decade, across a range of technologies from biofuels to software for utilities. Just prior to joining ARPA-E, Tuttman advised commercial and institutional clients on large-scale renewable energy procurements.
Tuttman earned his MBA and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT, and his Sc.B. in Mechanical Engineering from Brown University.
