Giorgio completed his PhD under the supervision of Dr. Mario Caironi and Prof. Guglielmo Lanzani, at the Center for Nano Science and Technology of the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (Italy). His research activities focused on exotic materials for organic bioelectronics, the realization of edible electronic devices and cell-sensing platforms based on semiconducting carbon nanotubes. After his PhD, he joined the group of Prof. Fiorenzo Omenetto (Tufts University), working on tunable microwave metadevices and scalable deposition of silk-based functional inks. From July 2020, he is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Global fellow, working in the Salleo Group in collaboration with the lab of Dr. Mario Caironi (Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia, Italy).
