James Yoo

Dr. James Yoo is a professor at the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine (WFIRM), with a cross-appointment in the Departments of Urology, Physiology and Pharmacology, and Clinical and Translational Science Institute, and the Virginia Tech-Wake Forest School of Biomedical Engineering and Sciences. His research focuses on the clinical translation of tissue engineering technologies and cell-based therapies. Dr. Yoo is a lead scientist in the WFIRM bioprinting program and has been instrumental in developing skin bioprinting and integrated tissue and organ printing systems.
