Maria Pau Ginebra

Dr. Maria-Pau Ginebra is a professor and the Head of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC, Barcelona, Spain), where she leads the Biomaterials, Biomechanics and Tissue Engineering Group. Her research focuses on the development of new biomaterials for tissue engineering and controlled drug release, with special emphasis on the musculoskeletal system. She explores new strategies of biofabrication, including 3D printing of scaffolds for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.
