Norio Tokuda is a professor at Nanomaterials Research Institute, Kanazawa University, a director at Kanazawa Diamond Co., Ltd, and a technical advisor at Vision Ⅳ Co., Ltd. He received his Ph.D. degree in applied physics from University of Tsukuba in 2005. His Ph.D. dissertation topic is on the formation of low-dimensional metal nanostructures on Si surfaces. Prior to joining Kanazawa University in 2009, he was a postdoctoral researcher on diamond homoepitaxy and surface control at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST). From April 2018 to March 2020, he was a cross-appointment fellow on diamond power devices at AIST. From April 2020 to March 2021, he was a visiting professor on diamond semiconductor and quantum materials science at Kyoto University. His current research focuses on the diamond semiconductor and quantum including the wafer fabrication and device applications.
