Oleg Heczko

Oleg Heczko received his PhD from Charles University in 1997. He is the Head of the Department of Magnetic Measurements and Materials at FZU - Institute of Physics, Czech Academy of Sciences. His research focuses on experimental investigation of magnetic materials, including preparation, structure, magnetic, and magnetoelastic properties. He has published over 200 research articles and holds several patents. He is an expert on magnetic shape memory phenomena, particularly magnetically induced reorientation, a term he coined with Sebastian Fähler.
