Daniel Kiener

Daniel Kiener is a professor in the Department of Materials Science at Montanuniversität Leoben, where he received his PhD degree and habilitation in materials physics. His research focuses on understanding mechanical properties of confined volumes and nanostructured materials. His research group develops and employs various micro- and nanoscale scale testing schemes with an emphasis on miniaturized in situ experiments conducted in electron microscopes.
