Parisa Pour Shahid Saeed Abadi

Parisa is a May 2013 Ph.D. graduate of Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology where she studied the Mechanical Response of Carbon Nanotube Forests: Uncoated, Coated, and Soaked In Solvents. Parisa received her M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo with a focus on Thermo-mechanical Modeling of Thermal Interface Materials in 2009. Prior to that, she received her B.S. degree in Aerospace Engineering from Sharif University of Technology (Tehran, Iran) in 2006. Parisa’s research has so far resulted in eight articles published in leading archival journals. She presented her research at ten conferences and received the best student paper award at the 2009 IMAPS Advanced Technology Workshop on Thermal Management, outstanding poster award at the 2011 and 2012 Georgia Tech Research and Innovation Conference, and was selected as a finalist for the student presentation award in the 2012 Society of Engineering Science Annual Technical Meeting.
